These terms govern your use of this website and the IV-therapy services provided by DetoxBar Medellín (“DetoxBar”, “we”). By booking a session or contacting us, you accept these terms.
1. About our services
DetoxBar offers intravenous vitamin and serum therapies administered by Brice, a French-trained registered nurse since 2011, with over a decade of IV-drip experience including emergency, oncology, and hospital-at-home settings. Sessions are delivered at our location in El Poblado or at your address in Medellín (“home delivery”).
2. Medical disclaimer
Our therapies are wellness treatments, not a substitute for medical care. They do not diagnose, treat, or cure disease. If you have a health emergency, contact local emergency services (in Colombia: 123).
Before any treatment, you must disclose:
- Known allergies
- Current medications and supplements
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Chronic conditions (cardiovascular, kidney, liver, autoimmune, etc.)
- Recent surgeries or hospitalizations
We reserve the right to decline or modify any treatment if a contraindication is identified. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to book a session.
4. Bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling
- Bookings are made through cal.com/detoxbar/iv-session, WhatsApp, or in person.
- We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
- We may reschedule sessions if Brice is unavailable due to illness or emergency; we will offer the earliest available alternative.
5. Home delivery
Home delivery is available throughout the El Poblado / Provenza area at no extra charge. Service to other neighborhoods is available on request and may require advance notice. You are responsible for providing a clean, calm space appropriate for an IV session.
6. Pricing and payment
- Prices are listed in Colombian Pesos (COP); USD equivalents are shown for reference and may vary with exchange rates.
- Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, bank transfer, and major debit/credit cards (subject to availability).
- The price quoted at the time of booking is the price you pay.
7. Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service for behavior that is unsafe, disrespectful, or under the influence of substances that contraindicate treatment.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Colombian law, DetoxBar’s liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific session in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Intellectual property
The DetoxBar name, símbolo, wordmark, illustrations, photography, and site content are owned by DetoxBar and may not be reproduced without permission.
10. Third-party services
Our site uses Cal.com (booking), WhatsApp (messaging), Google Maps (location), and Vercel (hosting). Use of these services is also subject to their own terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Medellín.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the latest version. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
